Hi,

when having to properties in Switzerland in different cantons, does the health insurance have to be paid at the primary residency or can the second residency become the location for the health insurance?

Thanks for any input.

You have to use your primary residence, that is, your domicile as defined in Article 23 of the Swiss civil code.

If you give the address of a secondary residence, the health insurance provider has the right to charge you the difference in premiums in arrears.
