General information:

The risk carrier are Europ Assistance and Fortuna Legal Expenses Insurance.
The insurance coverage can be individually combined from three basic modules (cancellation costs, personal assistance, vehicle assistance) and three additional modules (travel and traffic legal protection, luggage, no deductible for rental vehicles).
Only for persons resident in Switzerland.

Termination of contract:

The insurance is extended automatically if it is not cancelled at least 3 months before it ends.

Interruption and replacement:

Assistance: The unused part of the trip is covered up to CHF 50,000 per event (CHF 100,000 per event for families).

Luggage:

Possible as an add-on. Up to CHF 3000 per event (families: CHF 5000 per event). Deductible of CHF 200.
In the event of a delay of at least four hours in the delivery of luggage, the insurance will cover the costs of strictly necessary purchases up to a maximum of CHF 1000 per person and CHF 2000 per event.

Travel legal protection:

Travel and traffic legal protection: Up to CHF 250,000 per event (worldwide).

Medical expenses:

For people under 81 years: Medical expenses (up to CHF 250,000 per person) are only insured abroad. Included in the personal assistance module.
