Choice of hospital and doctor:

Free choice of department when entering a recognized hospital. Free choice of doctor in semi-private and private ward.

Notice period:

The insurer can terminate the contract at the latest 3 months before the end of the contract or calendar year.

Premiums and discounts:

Amount of premiums varies depending on the age, place of residence and gender of the insured person.
Discount of 20 percent in the beginning. A further 20% discount if the general ward is selected for a hospital stay or no benefits are drawn for 3 years (no-claims discount).
Co-payment of CHF 100 per day up to 30 days per calendar year for semi-private ward, CHF 200 per day up to 20 days per calendar year for private ward.
The last age class change is at age 80.
