Half-Turn

In investment jargon, the term half-turn (HT) denotes a single, one-way investment transaction, such as the purchase or the sale of a security or the opening or the closing of a position in the case of contracts for difference (CFDs), forex or certain other investment vehicles.

A round-turn, on the other hand, denotes a full, two-way investment transaction, such as the purchase and subsequent sale of a security or the opening and subsequent closing of an investment position.
