General information:

Additional vehicle assistance insurance available for an extra fee.
For an additional charge, young people can additionally insure extended reasons for cancellation, replacement travel, education and training, and examination protection.
Only for persons resident in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Can only be acquired in combination with personal liability or household contents insurance.

Termination of contract:

The insurance is extended automatically if it is not cancelled at least 3 months before it ends.

Vehicle assistance:

Europe-wide vehicle assistance coverage (including Switzerland), in the Principality of Liechtenstein, in the non-European countries bordering the Mediterranean and on the Mediterranean island states. Your insurance is not valid in the Russian Federation, Belarus, semi-island of Crimea, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Israel, Egypt, Algeria, Lebanon, Libya and Syria.

Accomodation & catering:

Cover of additional costs for accommodation and meals incurred during an unplanned stay up to a maximum of CHF 2000 per person.

Interruption and replacement:

Services not used are covered proportionally.

Luggage:

Luggage to be covered by Helvetia's household contents insurance.

Travel legal protection:

Not included in the insurance. Additional insurance available.

Medical expenses:

Not included in the insurance.
