HSPA+

HSPA+ is the abbreviated form of high speed packet access plus. HSPA+ is an extension of the UMTS (3G) standard for mobile communications.

To meet this standard, radio-based wireless connections must be capable of transferring data at speeds of up to 168 Mbps.

Swisscom, Sunrise and Salt, the three Swiss mobile network operators, all maintain HSPA+ networks, but maximum data transfer speeds are limited to 56 Mbps.
