Init7 is a broadband service provider from Winterthur. This service provider disrupted the Swiss telecom market with its Fiber7 offer. Init7 operates its own backbone network. It leases optical fiber lines from Swisscom and municipal power companies in order to offer its broadband plans. Init7 customers which do not have access to optical fiber connections are serviced via the Swisscom telephone line network.
