The Bourse de Luxembourg (Luxembourg Stock Exchange) was founded in 1928 and holds leading positions in a number of niche markets, including the bond market. More than 35,000 securities titles are listed on the exchange, with a large portion of these being issued by companies domiciled outside of Luxembourg.

The Luxembourg Stock Exchange also host a Luxembourg Green Exchange dedicated entirely to environmental technology investments.

A partnership between the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and Euronext resulted in the exchange switching to Euronext’s Universal Trading Platform. This partnership allows for more streamlined trading between the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and the Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and Lisbon exchanges, all of which are part of Euronext.
