Uganda Securities Exchange (USE)

The Uganda Securities Exchange, located in Kampala, is Uganda’s primary stock exchange. The number of companies with primary listings on the exchange is limited, but these are complemented by secondary listings of stocks listed on the Nairobi Stock Exchange.

In addition to facilitating trade in stocks, the exchange also lists government bonds. More than 10 financial services providers participate in the exchange.

The USE All Stock Index (ALSIUG) tracks the performance of stocks listed on the exchange.

Trading hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EAT (UTC+3)
Settlement cycle: T+3
