General

General information:

In addition to basic coverage (cancellation costs, assistance, legal protection), there is the option of vehicle assistance.
Only for persons resident in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Termination of contract:

The insurance is extended automatically if it is not cancelled at least 3 months before it ends.

Insurance rate (comments):

Stamp taxes included. The policyholder receives a discount on travel insurance if he already has motor vehicle, household or life insurance with Zurich.

Vehicle assistance:

Vehicle assistance is valid throughout Europe (including Switzerland and Liechtenstein), as well as in the Mediterranean rim and island states. However, the insurance does not apply in the following countries: Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, the Russian Federation, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Egypt, Algeria, Lebanon, Libya and Syria.

Accomodation & catering:

Additional costs, including additional costs for accommodation, meals and transportation up to CHF 1000 per event and person.

Interruption and replacement:

The unused part of the trip is covered up to CHF 30,000 per person / CHF 120,000 for all insured persons.

Luggage:

As supplemental insurance available (deductible CHF 200, except for delayed baggage).

Travel legal protection:

Legal travel protection (Orion): CHF 500,000 (Europe), up to CHF 100,000 in all countries outside Europe (per event).
No coverage in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Medical expenses:

Not included in the insurance.
