Notice period:

Minimum contract term 3 years if it came into force on January 1, otherwise 2 years. The insurer can terminate the contract at the latest 3 months before the end of the contract or calendar year.

Premiums and discounts:

Amount of premiums varies depending on the age and place of residence.

Glasses and contact lenses:

Cost contribution to eyeglass lenses, contact lenses and vision aids: CHF 100 per calendar year cumulative for up to 5 years.
Contribution to the cost of surgical vision correction: CHF 100 per calendar year cumulative for up to 5 years.

Vaccinations:

No coverage.

Preventative examinations:

Gym memberships:

Medicines:

Up to CHF 50,000 per insured person for vitally important medicines.

Alternative medicine:

Psychotherapy:

Cost recovery of medically prescribed psychotherapy by a qualified psychologist: Up to 100 percent, with a maximum of CHF 1500 per calendar year.

Search & rescue in Switzerland:

Emergency transportation: full coverage. Search and rescue coverage: CHF 20,000.
