The Bolsa de Valores y Productos de Asunción is Paraguay’s primary stock exchange and lists more than 100 companies. Around 10 brokers participate in the exchange, which offers both open outcry and electronic trading.

Contracts traded on the exchange include stocks, bonds (corporate, government) and repurchase agreements (repos) and debt securities.

The exchange is a member of Federación Iberoamericana de Bolsa (FIAB), a major association of stock exchanges which includes the BM&F Bovespa, Madrid Stock Exchange, Euronext Portugal and Mexican Stock Exchange.

The PDV General Index and the PDV 20 Index track the performance of stocks listed on the exchange.

Trading hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. PYST (UCT-3)
