Barcelona Stock Exchange

The Bolsa de Barcelona is one of four stock exchanges in Spain. The exchange functions as a secondary stock exchange and lists the same companies listed on the Madrid Stock Exchange. A broad range of securities and foreign stocks are also traded in addition to Spanish stocks.

More than 20 financial services providers act as market participants on the exchange, including Swiss bank UBS. In addition to electronic trading, transactions are also performed on the electronic trading floor in Barcelona. The exchange is operated by the Grupo Bolsas Mercados Españoles (BME), which publishes the IBEX index.

Trading hours: Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CET (UTC+1)
Settlement cycle: T+2
