Call Setup Fee

A call setup fee is a charge levied by many Swiss telecom service providers in addition to per-minute phone call charges. The call setup fee is charged once for each phone call made, when the call is placed.

Many telecom customers are not aware that they pay call setup fees. Because of this, call setup fees are often a hidden cost with which telecom service providers can increase their revenues.
