General information:

Premium version CSS myFlex Premium with various additional benefits. Coverage in Switzerland and abroad.

Notice period:

The insurer can terminate the contract at the latest 3 months before the end of the contract or calendar year.

Premiums and discounts:

There is a discount for taking out a 3- or 5-year contract. Damage-free discount. Premiums depend on various factors such as age and place of residence. The premiums for 2026 are shown here. Upgrade option (from age 20 to a maximum of 70): For an additional fee, switch to a higher category without a medical exam, every 5 years.

Glasses and contact lenses:

Contribution to the cost of spectacle lenses, contact lenses and visual aids: CHF 300 per claim up to the age of 18, CHF 300 per year from the age of 19.

Vaccinations:

Contribution to the cost of preventive and protective vaccinations: 90 percent.

Preventative examinations:

Contribution to the cost of preventive gynaecological examinations: 90 percent.
CSS-Check-up (health account): 50 percent up to CHF 1000 every 2 calendar years (the additional conclusion of the myFlex hospital insurance is necessary).
The selected needs category (Economy, Balance, Premium) of myFlex hospital insurance determines the offer level of the health account. myFlex policyholders with a Balance or Premium health account also benefit from the health account bonus. If benefits are drawn from several areas, the maximum contribution applies across all areas (50%, maximum CHF 700 per calendar year).

Gym memberships:

Health account: 50 percent, maximum CHF 500 (family CHF 700) per calendar year.
The additional conclusion of the myFlex hospital insurance is a condition.
The selected needs category (Economy, Balance, Premium) of myFlex hospital insurance determines the offer level of the health account. myFlex policyholders with a Balance or Premium health account also benefit from the health account bonus. If benefits are drawn from several areas, the maximum contribution applies across all areas (50%, maximum CHF 700 per calendar year).

Medicines:

90 percent, unlimited in amount (recognized by CSS).

Alternative medicine:

Not covered.

Psychotherapy:

Cost contribution to sessions with CSS-approved psychologists: 75 percent, up to CHF 3000 per year.

Search & rescue in Switzerland:

Emergency transportation: full coverage. Search and rescue up to CHF 100,000 per incident.
Transportation to avoid or shorten a hospital stay: CHF 2000 per year.

Search & rescue abroad:

Emergency transportation and repatriation: full coverage. Search and rescue coverage up CHF 100,000 per incident.

Medical costs abroad:

Outpatient: 90 percent. Inpatient: Full coverage.
Optional outpatient treatment: 90%, maximum CHF 250,000 per year.

Tooth misalignment treatments:

Treatment of tooth misalignment up to the age of 20: 50 percent.

Dental treatments:

50 percent up to CHF 2,000 per year up to the age of 18. Removal of wisdom teeth: CHF 2000 per year from the age of 19.

Spa & convalescent therapy :

Coverage within hospital insurance.

Equipment:

90 percent up to CHF 2000 per year.

Sterilization:

Outpatient: 90 percent up to CHF 5000 per incident.
This coverage cannot be combined with the coverage provided by the myFlex hospital insurance plan.

Maternity:

Contribution to the cost of ultrasound and outpatient birth: 90 percent.
Nursing mother's allowance: CHF 200 per child (at least 30 days of breastfeeding).
A waiting period of 365 days applies.

Ear corrections:

Outpatient treatment up to the age of 18: 90 percent up to CHF 5000 per insured person.

Home care:

Medically prescribed care and assistance at home: maximum CHF 100 per day for a maximum of CHF 4000 per year.

Additional services:

Patient legal protection and legal protection abroad (maximum CHF 250,000 per claim within Europe, maximum CHF 50,000 per claim outside Europe).
Illnesses and accidents as a result of risks: CHF 250,000 per calendar year.
