I am working 50% and get accident insurance through my employer. I plan to take on another 50% job and am wondering how this would affect my accident insurance. Will I get accident insurance through my second job as well and have premiums deducted from my salary?

In Switzerland, employers are required to obtain occupational accident insurance for all employees, regardless of work hours. Employees who work for an employer more than 8 hours must also receive non-occupational accident insurance through that employer.

That means that each of your employers has to take out a separate accident insurance policy for you, and can deduct the premiums for non-occupational accident insurance from your salary.
