Can I claim my gym membership bill back from my Swiss health insurance? Friends keep telling me that gym memberships are covered by health insurance in Switzerland. Is that true?

Compulsory Swiss health insurance does not cover gym memberships. However, a number of supplemental health insurance policies do provide this benefit.
