My employer pays me a 13th salary every year. Will this be affected if I take maternity leave?

Hi there,

Your 13th month salary is not affected by your claiming paid maternity leave entitlements. However, if you take additional unpaid maternity leave, the resulting loss of income can affect our 13th month salary as this is normally based on your average salary over the standard 12 months.
