In Switzerland you are entitled to monthly salary statements, if you need them. Just tell your employer that you would like to receive monthly salary statements. You may be given the choice between digital or paper statements.
Getting salary statements is a good idea in any case because you are likely to encounter situations in which they will be required (applications for subsidies, etc.).
In Switzerland you receive an annual salary statement from your employer at the end of every calendar year. This is required when submitting tax returns, among other things.
