You can apply for a loan more than once. But be aware: If you are rejected, you get a negative entry in the database of the Swiss credit bureau (ZEK) which makes it unlikely to take out a loan by any Swiss provider.
Whether you are accepted by a loan provider is depending on your estimated creditworthiness as well as your database entries.
If your creditworthiness is good, you can also replace an existing loan. You can find more information on refinancing here.
