When will the new Swiss deposit slips be issued? How are the new slips different from the current ones?

Greetings,

The orange and red deposit slips are being replaced by a single, combined deposit slip. The deposit slip is white with orange print and can be used to make CHF or EUR deposits. It can also be customized to allow merchants to advertise on the slip.

A more important difference is the fact that a field for postal account numbers is no longer included. Only an IBAN field is provided. Slips now include a QR code which can be read by mobile devices. All information printed on the deposit slip is included in the code.

From 2020, IBAN numbers will be required for transactions within Switzerland. The release of the new deposit slip is also planned for that year.

Best regards from Moneyguru
