Hi there,

Currently, women are allowed to withdraw 3a retirement assets after they reach the age of 59 and men can withdraw assets from age 60 (more information on age requirements here).

There are a number of circumstances under which it is possible to withdraw 3a assets before you reach the legal age. These include: becoming self-employed, buying a home for use as a primary residence, amortizing a mortgage on your primary residence, buying shares in a housing cooperative, leaving Switzerland permanently.

You can find useful tax tips related to withdrawal of 3a assets here.

Best regards from Moneyguru
