Hi there,

The costs of continuing education which is directly connected to your career are tax deductible. However, this deduction does not apply to your initial education.

The limits on the portion of continuing education costs which can be deducted vary between cantons. You will normally have to provide proof of spending (reciepts or invoices, for example).

A 500 franc deduction can be claimed in the Canton of Zurich, with or without proof.
