My employers have not yet paid me for work I completed last year. Do I have to declare the income from these employers even if I have not yet received it?

Hi there,

As a general rule, income from employers should be declared in the tax year that you become entitled to it. For example, if you leave an employer at the end of one year but only receive money owed for outstanding vacation entitlements at the beginning of the next year, that money should be included in the tax return for the previous year.
