Apaprently UBS is raising fees for banking via telephone or at the till. What should UBS customers know about these new fees?
Hi there,
On October 1, 2017, UBS raised fees for non-standardized transactions to 60 francs per local transaction and 100 francs per international transfer. Non-standardized transactions include transactions ordered by mail and telephone, among others.
Orders made via online banking are not subject to these fees. UBS claims that it will help customers who order transactions at the till to use standardized transactions (by filling in a standard form, for example) in order to avoid fees.
UBS hopes that the new fees will discourage its customers from using non-standardized orders which require more administration on the bank's part.
Best regards from Moneyguru
