What is the actual cash value of Migros Cumulus points? Are these equal to 1 centime or 10 centimes?
Hi there,
On average, 100 Cumulus points can be redeemed for 1 franc in the form of a voucher. So the basic value of 1 Cumulus point is 1 centime.
When you redeem Cumulus points for merchandise, you may obtain more than the basic value depending on available offers. For example, an item of merchandise which has a 10-franc price tag may be offered to rewards program participants for 800 Cumulus points rather than 1000.
The standard Cumulus points-earning rate is 1 point for every 1 franc of purchases at Migros stores. If you use a Cumulus credit card, you can also earn 1 point for every 2 francs spent at non-Migros merchants.
So every 1000 francs spent at Migros stores earns 1000 Cumulus points, or 10 francs value. Every 2000 francs of non-Migros purchases charged to a Cumulus credit card earns 1000 Cumulus points (10 francs value).
Migros stores regularly offer higher Cumulus point earnings for certain products which they are trying to push.
