The Borsa Italiana is Italy’s primary stock exchange. This Milan-based exchange is now part of the London Stock Exchange Group, and is in a good position to facilitate investment through many different investment products.
Contracts traded on the exchange include stocks, bonds, exchange traded funds (ETFs), exchange traded commodities (ETCs), exchange traded notes (ETNs), derivatives (including futures and options) and certificates. More than 450 companies are listed on the exchange, and the vast majority of these are Italian companies.
The key indicator of the exchange’s performance is the FTSE MIB Index.
