The Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) is Slovenia’s principle stock exchange. The exchange was established in 1989 and is a member of the World Federation of Stock Exchanges (WFE). Around 15 financial services companies take part in the exchange, which operates electronically using the Xetra system developed by the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

Contracts traded on the LJSE include stocks, bonds and structured products, with trades being performed using the auction or continuous trading methods. Around 40 companies are listed on the exchange.
