Lock-In Mortgage

The term "lock-in mortgage" is sometimes used synonymously with the term forward mortgage.

This type of fixed rate mortgage includes a mortgage-rate lock option which allows you to fix the interest rate of the mortgage well ahead of the start of the mortgage term.
