Market-on-Open Order

In trading, a market-on-open (MOO) order is a request sent to a broker by an investor ordering the broker to buy or sell specific securities at the going market rate as soon as an exchange opens for trading.

Unlike a limit-on-open (LOO) order, an MOO order does not include a limit on the price which the investor is willing to pay for a security. It is simply a market order which is activated as soon as the relevant exchange opens.
