General

General information:

Additional to cancellation cost and personal assistance insurance, vehicle assistance and legal protection insurance are included.
Luggage insurance is available for an extra fee.
Only for persons resident in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Termination of contract:

Five-year contract with cancellation right each year. The insurance is extended automatically if it is not cancelled at least 3 months before it ends.

Search and rescue operations, maximum amount:

Vehicle assistance:

Vehicle assistance insurance services are covered in all European countries and the countries bordering the Mediterranean, excluding Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
Coverage for “costs for deductibles for rental and shared vehicles” applies worldwide.

Accomodation & catering:

Additional travel costs incurred are covered.
Assistance: Necessary accommodation and food costs in a middle-class hotel for a maximum of 10 days (excluding hospital costs).
Additional transportation costs up to a maximum of CHF 1000 per insured person to continue or end the trip.

Interruption and replacement:

If a serious illness or accident forces the insurance holder to abandon the trip, a replacement trip is covered.

Luggage:

Insurable as an add-on for a fee.

Travel legal protection:

Motor legal protection and travel legal protection worldwide up to CHF 100,000, in Europe as well as the coastal states of the Mediterranean (excluding Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan) up to CHF 1,000,000.
Traffic legal protection (only in the 24 h motor vehicle assistance): No coverage in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Not included in the insurance.
