Peter Lynch (* 1944)

Lynch likes to invest according to various methods and is therefore also called the «chameleon».

After his Finance and MBA degree, Peter Lynch worked as analyst at Fidelity Investments and, from 1977, as manager of the Magellan Fund. Until his retreat from operative activities in 1990, Lynch gained an average annual growth of 29% with his Magellan Fund.

Like Warren Buffett, Lynch makes long-term investments according to fundamental principles and only in businesses he understands («go for a business that any idiot can run –  because sooner or later, any idiot is probably going to run it»).

Apart from his fundamental basic principles, Lynch also likes to invest according to various methods and is therefore also called the «chameleon».
