General information:

Banking package of PostFinance. Provides customers with private account (individual or partner account), savings account (individual or partner account) and PostFinance card. Credit card also available.
The savings account is available in CHF and EUR.
The private account is available in CHF, EUR, AUD, CAD, DKK, GBP, JPY, NOK, SEK and USD.
PostFinance Card is only available for accounts in CHF and EUR.

For individuals from the age of 21.

Package / account management fee:

The account management costs per customer relationship (single or partner account) CHF 5 per month. With investment assets (funds, securities) of CHF 25,000 or more, a mortgage or life insurance policy from PostFinance, the account management is free of charge.

Surcharge for paper documents: per customer relationship (single or partner account) CHF 5 per month.

The additional charge for paper documents includes account statements, interest statements, credit card bills, payment orders and standing orders.

Private account interest rate:

0% per year.

Account opening:

The account opening is free of charge.

Closing of account:

The closing of account is free of charge.

Annual account closure:

The annual account closure is free of charge.

Statements of account:

The monthly statements of account by mail are free of charge.

Incoming payment:

Incoming payment in CHF are free of charge.

Outgoing payment (Switzerland):

Electronic payment orders in CHF are free of charge.

SEPA payment:

Electronic SEPA payment orders in EUR are free of charge.

Non-SEPA payment (abroad):

Fee of CHF 2.00 per electronic non-SEPA payment order in foreign currency.

Direct debit (LSV) Switzerland:

Electronic payment orders by direct debit (LSV) within Switzerland are free of charge.

Standing order Switzerland:

Electronic standing orders in CHF within Switzerland are free charge.

Annual fee debit card:

Debit card: There is no annual fee to pay.

Purchase Switzerland:

Debit card: Purchases in Switzerland in CHF are free of charge.

Purchase abroad:

Debit card: For purchases in foreign currencies, there is a fee of 1.5% of the purchase amount.

Cash withdrawal Switzerland:

Debit card:
Cash withdrawals in CHF at ATMs of the same bank in Switzerland are free of charge.
For cash withdrawals in CHF at ATMs of other banks in Switzerland, there is a fee of CHF 2.00 per withdrawal.

Cash withdrawal abroad:

Debit card:
Per cash withdrawal abroad, there is a fee of CHF 5.00.

Savings account interest rate:

0% per year.

Savings account
withdrawals:

Withdrawal possibilty: CHF 100,000 per calendar year and customer.
10 withdrawals per calendar year and customer are free of charge, additional withdrawals cost CHF 8 per withdrawal.
Larger amounts are subject to a notice period of 3 months.
In the case of partner accounts, the partnership is considered a single customer.

Credit card:

Different credit cards available, for instance Visa Classic / Mastercard Standard. Annual fee of Visa Classic / Mastercard Standard: CHF 50.

Purchase abroad in foreign curency:

For purchases abroad or online in foreign currencies there is an administrative fee of 1.7% of the purchase amount.

Reward program:

Cashback program of PostFinance credit cards.

Pillar 3a account
interest rate:

0.05% per year.

Termination of banking relationship:

The termination of the banking relationship is free of charge.
