Customers are generally satisfied with their mobile plans, as the moneyland.ch survey shows. Satisfaction with mobile data and network quality is particularly high, while customers are less satisfied with special promotions and roaming. There are also differences between service providers, with the best-known telecom companies taking the tail end.
Browsing, chatting, making phone calls: Smartphones – and therefore mobile carriers – largely define everyday life for most of Switzerland’s population. A representative survey carried out by moneyland.ch shows how satisfied Swiss consumers are with their mobile carriers.
The results who that Mr. and Mrs. average Swiss consumer are generally satisfied with their mobile plans. The average customers satisfaction rating across all carriers is 7.9 points, which translates into a “good” rating.
Compared to last year’s survey, customer satisfaction has increased somewhat. The average rating in 2025 was 7.8 points.
The big three received the poorest ratings
But not all Swiss carriers have equally satisfied customers. Customer satisfaction is highest at Gomo, Migros Mobile, and Wingo. Each of these three receive an average rating of 8.5 points, which translates into a “very good” rating.
On the other end of the list we find the most established Swiss mobile carriers, Swisscom (7.9 points), Salt (7.5 points), and Sunrise (7.4 points). However, the points are still sufficient for a “good” rating.
It is interesting to note that this year too, subsidiaries of the big telecom companies were rated higher than their parent brands. “One reason for that may be that customer who pay more also have higher expectations,” explains moneyland.ch telecom expert Ralf Beyeler. “A customer who pays 80 francs per month for a mobile plan expects more than someone who pays 25 francs per month.
Customers are most satisfied with mobile data
There are also clear differences between individual aspects of customer service. Customers are most satisfied with mobile Internet, which garnered an average rating of 8.1 points. Network quality comes next with 7.9 points. “The quality of Swiss telecom networks is exceptional, and the results of the survey confirm that,” says Ralf Beyeler. “The ratings are identical for the Swisscom, Sunrise, and Salt networks.”
Mobile Internet satisfaction is highest at Wingo (8.7 points), Migros Mobile (8.5 points), and Galaxus Mobile (8.3 points). Migros Mobile leads satisfaction ratings for network quality with 8.9 points, followed by Wingo (8.5 points) and Swisscom (8.4 points). Migros Mobile, Wingo, and Swisscom all use the Swisscom telecom network.
Customers are much less satisfied with special promotions, and with mobile roaming. Both of these received just 7.2 points. Among all the carriers included in the survey, Coop Mobile received the lowest satisfaction ratings for mobile roaming. Swisscom received the lowest ratings for special promotions, with just 6.7 points.
Methodology
Market research institute Ipsos was commissioned by moneyland.ch to conduct a representative online survey in early 2026. The 1500 survey participants rated their satisfaction with their mobile carriers. Participants rated their carriers based on these criteria: Mobile Internet, network quality, mobile roaming, customer service, value-for-money, notice periods for terminating plans, special promotions, mobile apps, and overall satisfaction. Participants could choose between ratings of 1 (not at all satisfied) to 10 (completely satisfied).
The following scale is used to translate points into ratings:
