The insurer can terminate the contract at the latest 3 months before the end of the contract or calendar year.
2% discount when taking out a 3-year contract, 3% discount when taking out a 5-year contract. Discount for early payment.
Premiums depend on various factors such as age, gender and place of residence.
Cost contribution to eyeglass lenses, contact lenses and vision aids: 90 percent, CHF 250 per year up to the age of 18. CHF 250 every 3 years from the age of 18.
Eyeglass lenses/contact lenses with a correction of more than 10 diopters: 90%, maximum CHF 750 per year.
Contribution to the cost of preventive and protective vaccinations: 90 percent.
Check-ups: 90 percent up to CHF 600 every 3 years. Preventive gynaecological examinations: 90 percent.
CHF 200 per year (voucher). Other checks with a value of CHF 150 for courses.
90 percent for medicines accepted by Swissmedic. 50% according to list of Visana group.

Services provided by non-physician psychotherapists who are licensed as service providers for compulsory health insurance: 80% percent, up to CHF 5000 per year.
Emergency transportation: 90 percent per year. Search and rescue: 90 percent, per year.
Travel expenses: 50%, maximum CHF 2000 per year.
Emergency transportation: full coverage. Search and rescue coverage up to CHF 25,000 (Vacanza: during 8 weeks only).
Full coverage of emergency outpatient and inpatient treatment with the Visana Vacanza integrated travel insurance for eight weeks per trip.
