Hi there,

Both the Bonus Card Visa Exclusive and the Visa LibertyCard Plus are issued by Bonus Card and both credit cards include high-end benefits (a concierge service, for example). However, there are a number of differences between these two cards:

1. Annual fee. The Bonus Card Exclusive has a CHF 216 annual fee, while the Visa LibertyCard Plus has a CHF 150 annual fee. Other fees, including foreign transaction fees and cash advance fees, are identical on both cards.

2. Benefits. The Bonus Card Exclusive includes a number of shopping benefits like price protection (get the difference refunded when you find identical items being sold for less), shopping legal insurance, extended warranties (additional 2 years) and package delivery insurance. The LibertyCard Plus does not include these shopping benefits but does include luggage insurance, bicycle insurance and SBB luggage transportation benefits.

3. Rewards. With the Bonus Card Exclusive you earn points by shopping at Bonus Card partner merchants. The LibertyCard Plus lets you earn points on all purchases and double points for travel-related purchases - including gas and public transportation.

Verdict: The Bonus Card Exclusive is designed for shoppers, while the LibertyCard Plus has more travel-related benefits. You can see how these cards compare to other Swiss credit cards in the moneyland.ch credit card comparison.
