Worldwide coverage. The legal protection insurance is provided by Coop Legal Protection AG.

Insured persons:

Private individuals are insured. Within the scope of individual insurance: the policyholder. Within the scope of household insurance: the policyholder and those persons who living permanently with him/her in the same household. Additionally: children in education and minor children of these persons, even if they do not live in the same household.

Insurance rate (comments):

Stamp taxes of 5 percent included.
Legal protection insurance can only be taken out in combination with personal liability or household insurance. The premiums for personal liability insurance or household contents insurance are not included in the premiums shown.

Termination of contract:

The insurer can terminate the contract: at the latest 3 months before the end of the contract or insurance year. After every insured event for which a claim is payable. If material risk factors have been concealed or falsely communicated.

Contract duration:

Minimum contract duration: 1 year. The contract will automatically renew for another year unless termination notice is given 3 months in advance.

Waiting period:

A waiting period of 3 months applies. No waiting period for legal disputes in connection with cybercrime and from the infringement of copyright, name and trademark rights.
