General information:

Available as pillar 3a or as pillar 3b account. Pure term insurance with constant insurance sum in case of death (optionally with waiver of premium in the event of disability). 

Type of insurance:

Minimum entry age: 16 years. Maximum entry age 3a: 62 years (women) or 63 years (men). Maximum entry age 3b: 73 years (women and men). Maximum payment age 3a: 64 years (women) or 65 years (men). Maximum payment age 3b: 75 years (women and men).




In the event of suicide within the first 3 years, no insurance coverage applies; the premiums paid in will be refunded. No premium waiver is granted in the event of incapacity for work due to attempted suicide.

No premium waiver will be granted in case of incapacity for work due to brawl, scuffle or active participation of riots of any kind. The standard regulations of the Swiss life insurance companies apply during military service and war.

Premiums and discounts:

Premium agreed upon conclusion of the contract is guaranteed for the entire duration of the contract. Quarterly, semi-annual or annual premium payment possible.

Profit participation:

Possible dividends can be applied to premiums.

Death benefit amount:

Constant sum insured possible from 5000 francs.


Between minimum of 2 years and maximum of 50 years.

Waiver of premium:

Premium waiver after expiry of a waiting period in the event of disability. Depending on the degree of disability, full or partial exemption from the obligation to pay premiums. A degree of disability of less than 25% does not constitute a waiver of premium, while a degree of disability of at least 70% constitutes a full waiver of premium.


The beneficiaries entitled to the benefits are the following: surviving spouse, direct descendants, parents, siblings and other heirs. With a pillar 3b pension plan, the customer can also appoint third parties.
